ELSIE (2017)
site-specific installation, loop
first presented at Listaháskóli Íslands, Reykjavík, 2017
Binaural documentation of the installation as first shown in Reykjavík, Iceland. The sound is played back through a speaker at the bottom of the ventilation system of a seven story office building, resulting in a muffled "next door" sound effect permeating the building from the basement all the way to the top floor.
Material includes a snippet from Fritz Lang's first talkie "M", as well as a gay porn film.
